Bridget's Happy Birthday Gala!
My sweet Bridget is 26. Wow - that is amazing. She is everything I hoped she would be when I held her in my arms those 26 years ago and admired her little square face, long, long toes and fingers and skinny little wrists. She is a beautiful woman, a wonderful support to her husband, an amazing sister and even more amazing aunt. She is a great worker, a fun and responsible primary teacher, and always so clever at scrapbooking. She has an amazing eye for making her home cute, cute, cute. Happy Birthday Bridget - love you SOOOO much!
Bridget wanted to go to a taping of Goods Thing Utah for her birthday. So we did! Yes, I even took almost a whole day off on the day before corporate tax deadline - that's how much I love being with these four gorgeous daughters of mine. Riley skipped school, Lyss and Cara got sitters and away we went. It was so much fun. We really need to do it more. Thanks Bridge for the memories!
Team Carrie Ann from Dance Wars did a little segment for Good Things Utah so we got to sneak in a picture! Woohoo!
Then we went to Paradise Bakery for lunch. These girls are so much fun to be with. We really should hang out together more because we laugh so much when we do it's good for the soul. I am one lucky mom, that's for sure!
It's hard to believe this goofball is not only a mother and wife, but most the time a mother to her sis's and me. We love for her to go shopping with us cus she gets us good deals. When we're eating she makes sure we all get things just right. But most of all, just like always, she makes us laugh over the silliest things. Heehee!!!
Riley's Prom
Riley and Thomas - Junior Prom
The Couple
The hair - thanks to Caramie of course!!!
I told the boys Riley had become a princess. I think they took me literally. They were scared of her for a minute. It was pretty funny!
The 'day date' - actually the evening before. The weather was snowy and rainy so they didn't get to do their original activity. But the boys did a great job of improvising.
Riley had so much fun.
And breakfast the next morning - Prom day.
Of course the boys secretly came and got them out of bed!
The girls and the boys. There were 26 of them! That is alot of very fun kids. The boys did such a fantastic job putting everything together. The bill at Rodigio Grill for dinner was $1010! Haha! If everyone had as good a time as Riley it was worth it.
It was all she hoped Prom would be!
